This tour will take you through Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Arusha National Park. You will be able to see the Big Five. After an early breakfast at 8:30 am, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Tarangire National Park. You will enjoy the game drive in the park and experience the beautiful African sunset. You will have lunch and dinner at the campsite.
Accommodation: Budget CampingAfter breakfast, we head toward the Serengeti National Park at 8 am via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Seronera Campsite.
Accommodation: Budget campingAfter an early breakfast, you will have a morning game drive and later return to the campsite for an early, hot lunch. Our driver and chef will load everything on top of our safari Jeep and you will continue with game viewing en-route to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Accommodation: Budget campingAfter breakfast at the campsite, you will continue with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch. The lake occupies a large area of the park. The forest starts when you cross the park gate along the base of the Great Rift Valley and the hot spring to the west of the park. The park is home to tree-climbing lion, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, and baboon. The birdlife includes flamingos, ostriches, Egyptian geese, and more. After your picnic lunch, we proceed with the afternoon game drive. In the evening, we drive to a hotel in Arusha for dinner and overnight.
We depart Arusha in the morning with your private guide and travel to Arusha National Park, a 40-minute drive from Arusha town. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie "Hatari" in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne.
Your day trip includes a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater, affectionately known as the “Little Ngorongoro”. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, and zebras can all be seen year-round as well as many different bird species. In the evening, we proceed back to Arusha.
