7-Day Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Natron, Manyara

Visit the best of northern parks in 7 days’ time! You’ll be visiting Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park, Lake Natron, and Lake Manyara. Enjoy the beautiful landscape and great view of the animals as you do game drives around the parks. This itinerary offers a unique game drive. You’ll spend the night at the lodge.

Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2.5 hour drive you will enjoy the view of the beautiful nature, landscapes and local communities. We’ll do a full day game drive in Tarangire which is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we will go to country lodge Lake Manyara where you will spend the night.

Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive towards the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African black rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few. At the end of the day, we head to Serengeti where we overnight at Tanzania bush camp Serengeti.

On day three, we will head toward the Serengeti. After a few hours' drive, we will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After lunch, we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for its migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers.

At the end of the day, we arrive at Tanzania bush camp where you'll sleep in a furnished comfortable safari tent. Located between Serengeti Seronera, Grumeti, and Ikongo Game Reserves the location is perfect for exploring the Serengeti. It’s the perfect retreat for a relaxing moment watching birdlife or a herd of impala grazing quietly around the camp area or rather just relaxing. Accommodation: Tanzania Bush Camps Central Serengeti

On the next day, we'll continue our game drive in Serengeti, and we will be heading north. In the migration season, we can pass by the Mara River. Be amazed by the thousands of animals crossing the river. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience! At the end of the day, we will overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, we will head to Lake Natron. The drives from the northern Serengeti are remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity. The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view in a wild, cauterised landscape. From June to November, at the lake around two million flamingos gather. On the way to the lodge, we can make a stop at the hot springs. We will overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The lodge has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano. Enjoy the view! From the lodge you can take a 10-minute walk to the lake with your guide.

In the morning, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Several Maasai villages are found nearby and your guide for the hike will be a Maasai. After lunch, you’ll head to Mto wa Mbu where you'll overnight at county lodge Lake Manyara.

Today, we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs and lion climbing tree but also you may see animals' lake elephant, giraffe, zebra, impala and birds' lake flamingo ad others. We'll do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and in the afternoon, we drive back to Arusha where we will arrive before dinner.
